Jungheinrich 14485060 Alternator for CD/CL 16-20 Forklifts

Overview

The 14485060 Alternator is a Jungheinrich charging-system component for the CD/CL 16-20 forklift series. The alternator keeps the battery charged while the engine is running and supplies power to lights, sensors and controls. When it starts to fail, you may see dim warning lamps, slow cranking or repeated battery problems. Fitting the correct 14485060 Alternator restores dependable charging performance and helps prevent unplanned downtime.

Compatibility

This 14485060 for CD/CL trucks fits the Jungheinrich CD/CL 16-20 series, including the C, CL and C/H variants such as the CL 16 C and CL 20. Because Jungheinrich has produced many related variants over the years, always match the part number 14485060 against the data plate on your truck, or confirm the model and serial number with our support team before ordering. Checking fitment up front avoids returns, delays and lost operating hours.

Quality and Reliability

As a Jungheinrich part, the 14485060 Alternator is produced to the original specification for the CD/CL 16-20 series, so output, mounting points and pulley alignment match the component fitted at the factory. Using the correct alternator protects the battery and wiring harness from under- and over-charging, supports stable electronics and delivers a longer service life than unsuitable substitutes. Maintenance teams rely on this consistency to keep the 16 and 20 models of the CD/CL series working shift after shift.

Installation and Maintenance Tips

• Disconnect the battery and isolate the truck before starting work.
• Photograph the belt routing and wiring before removing the old alternator.
• Compare the removed unit with the 14485060 Alternator to confirm mounting, pulley and connections.
• Tighten mounting bolts to specification and set correct belt tension; overtightening shortens bearing life.
• Inspect the drive belt, wiring and grounding points while the alternator is accessible.
• After installation, test the charging voltage at idle and at working speed.
• If in doubt, have a qualified technician carry out the replacement.
